Run a bead of waterproof marine grade adhesive along the old sill. Wedge the pry bar under the sill and try to loosen the nails or sill. Around all the edges including between the underneath trim and the window sill. If necessary set your circular saw to the depth of the sill and cut the sill in half without touching the window wood or metal.

Depending on how the sill was installed there will likely be a 1 4 inch by 1 2 inch piece of profiled wooden trim. Insert the tip of a utility knife between the sill and the trim. Won t rot peel or yellow. Drill pilot holes every 16 inches or so through the new sill s front and back edges.
